Some requesters don't care about the MTurk timer and instead just pay attention to the timers on each page of the survey, which isn't visible to workers.

I know I found mturk by hiring peeps for a undergrad project. I have only been rejected once for time and it was BS for 13 seconds

I get it but I am 17k in and have 1 rejection on time. I don't think it is something people should over worry about if they do the work properly.

I've been rejected more than once because I read quickly. One told me, "No one on earth could possibly read that quickly." Pretty sure I'm not the fastest reader on earth so I don't know what metric they were measuring with.

Okay, so I just found something to laugh about in regards to breaking up with a lovely boyfriend I've had recently.
Another one of his ex's (he only has dated two people besides me, ever, interestingly enough) also is a trans boy.
This boy keeps attracting trans boys specifically, and it's hilarious? I was out to him when we started dating, but allegedly he ended up coming out years after they dated.
I'm trying not to cry laugh at this.
