How old is the cat? It could be arthritis. Colder weather makes it act up more and getting over the step/through the door to the litter box might be painful. No, I don't have any animals at my house nor are there any when I bring my laptop on any gigs I go to. Their pets are primarily the only ones I see. I don't know, I think something is wrong with her. Another neighbor of ours found her on the side of the road obviously hit by a car, took her to the vet, and the vet saved her. Her husband wouldn't let her keep it so she gave it to my friends. but she's like not a normal cat. She started this peeing inside thing last winter, stopped for a while, and is starting again now. Which might have to do with the change in weather. but she's never peed on the table before. Usually she goes right in front of the door to her litter box.
@C to the J Thanks for posting that Investment hit (yesterday I think ??!?!?). Caught that sucker on PC finally. $3.86 out of a possible $4.00 bonus. Apparently if I had the capital or someone needs investment help I'm your guy. Thanks again!

Has she been checked for diabetes? I didn't notice how old the baby is but this can be a problem with cats. The cat will do the best it can. Don't get mad at one that misses the litter box. Maybe try some catnip around the litter box if kitty is into that kind of thing and when I have cats that are older and begin missing the box I always add papers or whatever it takes around and under the box to make sure the floor is protected from mishaps. Also has there been a change in litter? That can upset a kitty. If it can't get into the litter box then cut out a space so it walks in or has just a small step. I use the cheap carpet pieces you can get a Family $ for about $2 to put in the front of the box to catch the litter. Those can be vacuumed or just shake them out. If they cat messed or something I clean them with carpet cleaner. How old is the cat? It could be arthritis. Or joint damage/pain lingering from the whole "getting hit" thing.
They don't know. When they first got the cat (4 years ago), the vet was saying she was probably 2. So that would make her 6 now. but now the vet is saying they think she's actually older than that. So they really don't know how old she is. If it was arthritis, though, that'd explain not wanting to go through the cat door, but why would she wanna jump up on the table? definitely easier to pee on the floor (and again, she is NOT a jumper -- they got her a cat tower to feed her on so the dogs wouldn't be able to reach the food, and she couldn't figure out how to climb it).How old is the cat?
