Many, many people here turk because they need to and rely on it as a sole source of income. I admire the people that do whatever they have to do to make it work because mturk can be a cruel mistress.

That's me after I got laid off. It was work at home, but I worked for AT&T and worked about 60-70 hours a week having people scream at me. Even then, the fact I was working at home made it somewhat bearable. When we got laid off, I didn't want to go back to an office in real life. I've had so many bitchy co-workers who would get upset with me because I worked. I didn't socialize, I worked...apparently that causes friction at work. Who knew.

So I turk because I don't play well with others in the real world, I'm tired of people yelling at me over the phone because they broke their phone, I haven't found another good paying job from home like the one I had with AT&T, and pajamas are comfortable.
