Many, many people here turk because they need to and rely on it as a sole source of income. I admire the people that do whatever they have to do to make it work because mturk can be a cruel mistress.

I've found that Bank of America, Winn Dixie, Best Buy, T-Mobile, Krystals, Arbys, and a few other shitty jobs I've had can be waaaaaaaaaayyyyy more cruel than mturk.

Now ive never actually had a good job before, so I cant compare THAT to turking, but mturk beats the shit out of a lame minimum wage part time

I've had some good jobs. I'm in healthcare. I LOVED working in the ER. I HATED my last supervisor (because I REFUSE to BE a supervisor, damn). So I left. I should have stuck it out. A few months later half the reasons I NEEDED out were gone. Gr. Including problems my hubby had with the girls at home.
So I'm applying again.
Sigh.

I was mostly being tongue-in-cheek about the cruel mistress part. I'm very grateful for mturk because it's pulled us through some bad times and I was able to do it at home. I just meant it takes a lot of work to do well at it.
