There is no such thing as a personal batch. It is the requester allowing more than 1 worker per HIT. So put up a batch of 500, allowing 5 workers per HIT makes it 2500 HITs total, but only 500 unique. The batch number won't drop until a unique HIT has used up all 5 workers.

That's what people were calling personal batches for a while.

I know 500 wasn't the total number of the batch as me and Gina did 100 each.....so I know we didn't do almost half the batch.

I think you guys are saying the same thing. We've always called that a "personal batch" although using @Kadauchi's example numbers, only 5 workers will get a full personal batch of the entire set.

every batch is like that... most batches require 1-3 responses per hit... the ones most turkers call "personal batches" just require a higher number of responses per hit.
