So what do you mean when you call a batch a "personal batch"?

I've mistakenly called a few things that recently.

From now on I'll only call things that when I know a turker will likely be able to get the full amount available.

The Will (google requester) HITs that showed/allowed you to do 10 are a good example.

edit: that wasn't one of your definitions and I've seen you use the phrase a few times and am curious

i thought it meant that when you see a batch that has say... 50 hits available, it means everyone that works on it gets 50 (as opposed to there being 50 hits that we all have to fight for)

That is not the way it works at all. Most batches require 1-3 responses per hit created... most of the time the batches people call "personal batches" are simply requiring a higher number of responses per hit created.
