So my laptop shit the bed this past week. Luckily it's still under warranty and I get to get all my money back. On the plus side, I had the model number wrong all along and this thing costs $200 more than I expected. So with that said I'm using it as an excuse to go all out. I'm willing to spend upwards of 1k and no I can't 'build a pc' because I have to have something portable. Any suggestions

well if u ever get into gaming, just remember u need a dual 12 core computer with 8 1080's, half of which in SLI, and then 10 ssds for all the porn.

and then u gotta get a $1000 DAC and amp to use with $50 headphones

and put all of that on $100 worth of ikea


and then play minecraft only

Dont buy an expensive laptop. Its not worth it because it will just be dead in a few years.
Laptops have a bad shelf life because they overheat way easier than a desktop with plenty of heatsinks and vents.
