1. What is a Zoltar?

Project Endor (Zoltar) is a Google requester who posts Hits about Website Evaluation.
The Hits are fairly straightforward. You look at a website and answer 5 questions about that site.
They have 3 varieties: Website review $0.12, Car Dealership $0.06 and Dentist $0.06.

2. What are the qualifications?

They are all 1 approved Hit, 90% approval rate and located in the USA.

3. What are the Pandas?

4. When do they post?

They post their hits everyday of the week at 8:10 am EST. They will usually post for 2 weeks straight and then take a week break, but this can vary.

5. Do they reject?

The usually don't reject, but they WILL block!. Just remember to do careful thorough work and you won't have a problem.

6. I keep getting an error "An error occurred. Please refresh the current page in your browser.". Why?

There are two reasons for this. The first is if you returned a Hit. They will lock you out from working on anymore of their hits until the the amount of time that is on the timer (usually 60 minutes)
The second is when you are working from queue and they get out of order. You will need to go to each Hit and see which one is working. Usually it is the oldest.
Also if you have any other Endor Hosted hits in your queue, they will need to be done in order (Wills, YouTube Artist)
Also you will sometimes see this error as the page is loading. Be patient and wait 30 seconds, if it persists, try the above. Also try to reload the frame. That will sometimes help.

7. What is the cap?

Usually it is around 200 give or take a couple.

8. When do they approve?

They almost always go to the 22 hour Auto Approval.

I was thinking about starting to get up earlier to try to do these more often. The ones I have done, I over think alot.

What would you use as the name for this site? https://judywoertz.net/

Is it Judy Woertz or State Farm or something else?

Also, would you mark all three, Virtual/Customer location/Business location, for ways you recieve the services? I know I have used all three ways when dealing with insurance.

I asked this question a few weeks ago, and the consensus was to use the agents name. I use their name and then put , State Farm Insurance. I don't put virtual, I put their office and customer location. In this case, I'd use the full name as they like it (w/hyphen).

No, they never reject, but they WILL block!. Just remember to do careful thorough work and you won't have a problem.

YMMV, of course. There are reports of rejections on TO; other Google accounts do occasionally reject as well.

I have been using the Zoltar script and it really does make completing the hit faster.

A few times over the last couple of weeks, I've run into a problem with the Website Review (12 cent) HITs not loading. The oldest HIT constantly refreshes (I am using the reload frame script) but never fully loads, or I receive an error message. No returned hits, no expired hits.

I discovered that when I go to my queue, it will only show 10 HITs (single page), but my hit counter is showing over 10. I found that if I expand the "Items per Page" in my queue to 100, I can find the "hidden" HITs, usually a couple that I couldn't see in the queue before. From there, you can open a new tab with every hit in the queue to find the active HIT, which *sometimes* is not the oldest HIT in the queue.

I hope this helps someone that has had the same problem as me, because it's pretty frustrating when none of them work and you don't want to get locked out by returning.

every now and then i come across a site that even after reading everything there is to read, i still can't figure out wtf it is. well, i just got one in "french". i say "french" because that's what google says the language is but when i click the translate button to translate it to english, even google can't recognize the language, it just shows a wall of jiberish text. any other requester and i would have returned this hit. it's a ticking time bomb of inevitable rejection. but i don't want to return it and get locked out and miss out on the remaining hits in my queue. is there any solution to this? i know how to read some very basic french, and i recognize nothing. i havent even the faintest clue what this website is. even the url they supply in the actual hit is clearly a redirect of a redirect and mostly just symbols, so i can't even do a google search for the .com name. i tried copy/pasting some of the "french" text into google translate to play around and see if i could get anything. nope. i mean, i have tried everything that i can think of.

would this be a case where i could click that the website is "unavailable" or would that not pass a spot check? i wouldn't normally waste my time on a hit like this but like i said, i don't want to be locked out or lose the rest of the z's in my queue. i also figured i could use this as a learning experience since i want to continue to work on these hits, so it isn't really a complete waste of time i guess. any advice? :/

If you can't find some sort of business name to search for and there is ONLY text on the site, then I would put content, no locations. The instructions say something like, 'this website and/or business', so even if you're only reporting on the website then you're still giving your best effort. (I mean, this only applies in worst case scenario in my head.)

i figured it safer to let it expire/return it and miss out on the few dollars in my queue than to get a block from them and lose out on the money in the long run. i only started doing them recently and i don't cap on them like most people do. i think i do *maybe* 2 queues full a day (on the days i actually do them) so it's not a huge deal, but i do like them now that i am getting the hang of them (this morning excluded lol) and don't want to be blocked from access to this work. figured it'd be better to take the loss for today just to be safe. nothing i can't make up with other work. now it's just about learning.

I would have probably just put the website or some version of it (like without the .com)

I don't know their criteria for deciding to block people, nor does anyone, but I think marking it as 'unavailble' is worse that trying to categorize it to the best of your ability, even if you turn out to be wrong. The website is AVAILABLE, it's just nonsense.

With that in mind it would be nice for them to have a comment box on the HITs for this kind of thing.

edit: I'm always iffy about goods or services when it comes to content stuff. Since you have no idea what the website it talking about, either one would probably work for this purpose. Or Reread the examples and see if one or the other feels more 'right'.

Seeking some feedback here that I hope will be helpful to others... Specifically, I am looking to increase the speed at which I complete each Zoltar Website Evaluation HIT... Unlike most posts, I am not concerned about catching them because that doesn't seem to be an issue for me.

I am trying to get over the hump of only being able to only complete 90-130 of the $0.12 Website Evaluations each day before they run out. Most often, by the time I see the really fast people reach the daily cap hit 200-225, I have only completed about 80-90 Zoltar Websites Evals. So clearly my problem is that I am not completing them quickly enough...

What I am most interested in learning from those who frequently cap is the following:
1. Do you complete the HITs in your queue while your Zoltar Panda continues to run? Or do you allow your queue to fill-up, then shut off the Zoltar Panda while you complete all of the HITs, then restart it. I've received feedback from a few daily zoltar cappers that they prefer the latter.
2. What % of website links are people actually opening? For instance, I don't need to open Jobsbucket links to know what information to input into the HIT because it's all right there in the URL. Over time I've certainly gotten faster and can predict more sites... So I am curious to know if the really fast people only need to actually load only something like 50% of the websites.
3. How long does it take on average to complete each HIT?
4. Compared to when you started, what is one thing that really helped speed up how quickly you complete each Zoltar?

It would be great to get feedback from some of the frequent daily Zoltar cappers...
