It is only recently that I realized people have "heating oil" and stuff like that. Sounds like a pain, I would much rather have the little switch on my thermostat that goes cool - off - heat.

me too. unfortunately we live too far out in the sticks for gas companies to make any money after running natural gas lines to us country folk.
