Iirc Chrome made it so that background tabs cant play video or audio files, so if some script's sound works on one computer and not another, it's probably either because one has an outdated version of Chrome or the tab that's trying to play sound is in the background on one and focused on the other.

Really? Mine both updated yesterday and I still get my bells from background tabs. Wouldn't that make the "mute tab" feature, which is currently available with a right click, nearly useless?
