I live in a 400sq ft cabin right now & I don't have/like to have much stuff so 800 was plenty and then some. I've been thinking about a tiny house for a few years, especially as I could build/pay to build entirely in cash. The only thing I'm thankful for in having to move every 6 months for goodness knows how many years is that I never got a chance to accumulate junk and then never got a 'taste' for it!

Building a cabin would likely be just as easy. We did this one on wheels and that comes with its own special kind of challenges. If you have land already it would be WAY easier to just pour a foundation and build on that. Cheaper too because a good trailer will cost you a couple thousand whereas a foundation is generally cheaper. I'll be around if you need anything.
