I use the trimmer on my entire body
I find that trimming the legs makes me feel less hot
trimming my arms has no noticible effect
trimming downstairs is just clean
trimming the chest area is also clean
trimming the armpits means the scent has less hair to stick to
and trimming instead of shaving means no ingrown hairs

You go ahead and roll them pretty eyes at me
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yes, but maybe don't assume that other people have the same grooming habits you do. If a guy gave me a trimmer, especially if I didn't know him well, I'd assume that he had some kind of massive double-standard.

I'm also extremely gullible sometimes and have no idea if your story is true or not, so.... yeah. :p

Okay, well. Not lying is a good thing. But basically telling someone that you're interested in that they're too hairy for your personal standards (especially when they never asked for your opinion) probably wasn't the best way to go about it.

I don't know why you're doing things half way. You need to fully wax your entire body and then cover yourself in strawberry jam and then you can be what you always wanted, a hairless, just-born baby.

I can't tell if he's joking either. I'd assume that there's no way but, I've been wrong. It'd be like if a girl gave me penis enlarger kit for Christmas.

I might possibly have messed things up with my crush, at work.

she's got some hairy forearms. not thick hair. just black.
and long. (but still, she's so cute though)

I asked her about it like a bit over a week ago,
and she said that during the summer she dyes it blonde so it's less noticible

so i bought her a beard trimmer, gave it to her last tuesday

and told her to trim it down like once per year,
instead of dyeing it two or three times per spring/summer
since it'll be more effective, and easier besides
well, if it helps, I never lie
the story actually happened
she still replies to my messages on facebook
so probably not weirded out, I guess
plus, we worked together almost two years now
Glad she still talks to you but it's really probably very not a good idea to buy work colleagues surprise grooming products. Boundaries aside, that is an HR disaster waiting to happen.

she was training me on what she does
I said "wow, those are some hairy arms, right?"
she says "yea, i know"
I said "oh, not trying to embarrass you"
she says "nah, people have been saying that for years" laughs
me: you know, a trimmer would be helpful
her: "a trimmer?"
Me: a trimmer
her: what's that?
me: you know, personal groomer thing. cuts hair short, like short as this" :: I rubbed my shaven cheek against her cheek ::
her: holy shit ow
me: I have an extra, i'll bring it to you (I really did have an extra, bzzagent sent me 4)
her: awesommeeeeeeee

I just would think that if a person made it their entire life being hairy and hadn't "discovered" the mystery of a hair trimmer, they're either super ignorant(which probably isn't the case) or they didn't feel shaving was necessary. Also, shaving can cause hairs that are normally blond to grow back black, making it more noticeable. Once again, what do I know?

Okay, but like... you pointed out her hairy arms. That's not typically something that you should do. Especially because it's just hair and she was born that way. It's one thing if you like to groom yourself and you have your own set of standards, but it's not really cool to be like "Wow, I can help you with that thing I perceive to be a flaw". I'm not saying you were doing it to be mean, but it's how it comes across since it conveys that something about her isn't good enough for you.
