I have a small complaint to the person who started this thread. Why are you wishing us snow and slush?

Arm hair is more like fur. It grows to, pretty much, a determined length(varying by person). If you trim it down, It will cause growth, usually.

You guys know very little about women. I've been around a long time. Shaving will not make blond arm hair go black, but it will make the ends bristly because they're cut off instead of tapered. There are gentle products on the market to dye arm and lip hair blond.
3rdly, if @Jharkan is offended by arm hair, he should shave his whole body.

The first hair that anybody gets are usually lighter in color and thinner. Like when babies have a fine coat of very blond hair. It's not shaving that makes it grow black, it's growth in general. Hair color can change over time when new growth happens. It's the same as a man's face. It's not a woman thing, it's mammal thing. Either way, okay, you win. I'm good with that.
