Anyone here build their own computers? I have no clue what the difference is between an AMD and Intel processor and what exactly I should be looking for in them (other than processing power).
Go Intel.
Kadauchi @Kadauchi

I have been noticing a discrepancy between my PE on the MTurk Suite and my MTurk Dashboard.
It started out small only 30 cents and now it is $1.40.
I have done all of my hits in the same browser. No changes I can think of.
I'm working on the menu for Suite right now, so it will be easy to see what Suite is missing. My guess is that it missed a submit. I had an issue with TurkPrime stuff before but I thought I fixed it but wasn't able to actually test it.

Has anyone received their bonus from that webcam game HIT from Taylan Sen? It's been a month and I haven't heard back from them through email either.

Actually I just scrooolll thru the Mturk interface occasionally looking for useful stuff.
Nah I meant the full survey wasn't showing up.
Didn't show the question for gender.

I had something messing with it, not sure what.
But it's probably my fault because I always forget to turn scripts off when I'm done with them. :p

I would like a batch that pays $1 per hit takes 2 minutes on average per hit and there are enough for everyone to have a full queue and with a 2 hour timer.
Please.

But... your mr.robot...
I've built a lot of things with PIs and Arduinos, just never built myself a full fledged computer. :p

Go Intel.
Is there any particular reason or is it just preference? I also use a lot of design software and I've read that I want less cores because most of the programs haven't been optimized to use multi-core processing.

AMD and Intel both boast about different aspects of their processors. AMD typically promotes the fact that alot of their CPUs have 8 cores, whereas most Intel processors are Quad cores. When it comes to gaming, certain developers will favor one company over the other, leading to slightly better performance and compatibility with said brand. On top of that, the kind of motherboard you'll need will change depending on which processor you get. Simply put, it's largely personal preference for the most part.

I have done a few TurkPrime surveys.
I bet that's it then. ugh. I know of a way to solve it but it involves Suite listening to everything but I want it constricted as much as possible so I need a better solution.

Intel is just better. AMD hasn't been great for awhile now. AMD will draw more power, generally has less support for gaming.

Yeah, unfortunately agree. Intel needs a strong competitor but they've pretty much shut the door on AMD.

Kadauchi @Kadauchi did you put out a fix for the HIT DB issue where it duplicated some entries a few months ago? I think back in september maybe.

Intel needs to do more to move into the mobile market. They are struggling there and it is where all the money is going.
