Hey there girlie! how's the big move going?

waiting, waiting, waiting on dd to finish her schoolwork. If we leave FL w/o her finishing, I have to pay tuition (it's free while we are here). She was supposed to be finished last week (and last week, the deadline was the week before!). She might be done on Thursday. Then we pack up (well, the few things we have - everything is in a POD storage), pick up the dog and drive.
It's still a mess - we don't have a place to stay when we get there (where are we going again?). But my NEW plan is to put the dog/cat in storage up there - stay in a hotel or some place for a few weeks and buy something sort-of inexpensive. We really like Brattleboro - and we might consider S. New Hamsphire (more expensive than bratt). The negative with Bratt is jobs (I want to work in MA) - so that would put my commute in Springfield area (a long, cold, icy drive in winter).
If all else fails, then N. Rhode Island (cheap, pretty, close to MA - which is what I want).
But if you consider our trip up apartment hunting was during the hurricane and included a night at a forced exit with other stranded drivers,
it's probably par for the course that we get stuck in a snowstorm (current weather, I see) when we go up for good..........................
