I use transcribe.wreally.com to do transcriptions. It doesn't do it automatically but it gives you tools (pause, rewind, different speeds, dictation, etc.) that make it a lot easier.

The answer to this was "do surveys instead".

No, I use the escape button to pause. I can hit the escape button with my left pinky faster than my foot can react.

I just installed PC to test and it loads for me. What are the console errors you are getting?

I just reloaded again, clicked a bunch of stuff, opened and closed other stuff and then somehow PC started working again . still can't right click into that stage 2 frame and insert userid

I don't transcribe on MTurk (with the very rare exception, like maybe once every few months) because the pay is almost always trash. I transcribe for freelance clients and I set my own price with them.

No.
