Is there any way to finish the Research Tasks quickly?
The fastest I've managed to finish one is three minutes, and the one I finished just now took me six thanks to a particularly slow partner.

So, I'm sort-of cheap and don't stream anything that costs money (really, I'm just frugal).
But it's christmas and
Dd is - well, totally into movie stars and music (all kinds, she loves country, pop, rock - even Frank Sinatra).
I got her (another) kindle this year and she requested two albums. This doesn't seem, to me, to be the best solution. So, I thought I should get her a music service? Or amazon prime (is that better)?
Any economical (sort-of) suggestions would be appreciated.
I know I sound like an old-out-of-it-idiot (I am not that old
but I am out-of-it
so, help save dd!! we want her to be culturally relevant :aikon:
recommendations?

I pay for a Spotify sub. It's not too expensive normally.

I do get a student discount though.

I would recommend Spotify. It's got free and premium, very customisable, has playlists and personalized radio service. I think premium is $10/month.

Amazon Prime has a streaming service included for both music and videos included with their subscription. Any songs I can't listen to on there, I can usually find on Spotify. I believe they still offer 1 free e-book each month that can be borrowed with Prime as well.

not really, it all depends on your partner, most of mine are around 2-3 minutes which isn't good. but on a day like today, It doesn't take too much thinking and is a mindless long batch. Sometimes I get them down to 1.5 min with a good partner.

Echoing Spotify. No other music streaming service comes close to the library Spotify has.

The personalized "endless mixes" and weekly "discovery" lists are great features of Spotify that are good for staying in-touch with new artists/hidden gems in genres you enjoy, in addition to everything already said, as well. Well worth the subscription, imo.
