Yea, it means exactly what it says: You answered a attention check wrong so you are not allowed to do anymore of the HITs in this batch.

This is actually very nice of this requester because
1. even though you failed an attention check they are not rejecting your work and
2. they are not blocking you, you can still work future batches that they post

"Soft" block would have a yellow box that says blocked. That just means there's no hits available for you.
