I hated colored pencils until I got a box of prismacolors for Christmas. Now my huge box of crayons sits untouched while my pencils are getting worn to nubs. (But I have no clue how to sharpen them yet)

I didn't really use colored pencils until I discovered Prismacolors, either. The results with other pencils are just not the same. I got a really good metal sharpener for my softcore prismacolors since they can break pretty easily.
