Overcomplicated. The money will continue to multiply in quantity... OP never suggested he wanted the money to continue being worth the same amount over time. Savings fulfills the initial request... actual investment would require nominal prediction/research which doesn't count as "doing nothing"

I follow some really dedicated/entertaining streamers on twitch that just can't break out of the 50-100 viewer range.. rough to get started these days it seems. I also stopped following big streamers out of pure jealousy.. some making ~300k in donations alone per year, not counting subscribers.
