Really, hundreds? Or people asking specific questions about how to get this or that qual, or if a certain batch is worth it or not, or how to work with a script or all the things people ask every day. Because if some poor soul took 40 minutes to do a survey and I ask if anyone has time on it and they tell me, I don't lose any life-changing valuable lesson by not having done it. Same with shitty batches or reject-happy ones.

That's how sharing knowledge works, people don't have to keep relearning the same thing over and over if others that have gone through the same thing can tell them differently.

Those questions get answered... that's what this forum is for. You are comparing apples to oranges. The question wasn't "how long did a survey take" it was "suggestions for completing 300 hits that aren't surveys" and there's no loss in being told "you've got a bike, it has training wheels... you've been shown how to ride it... now if you want to get good at riding it, go ride it." Sometimes people need to be reminded that they have to just go do the thing. If you want a different sort of advice given for the question, then give it... but you don't get to tell me what advice to share or why, I do... because I get to decide what skills I think are most important to pass along and then do so.

I believe you don't get a complete education being told what to do... I believe when it is slow and there's nothing earth shatteringly good up that the best thing you can do is try shit that isn't being talked about by the rest of the crowd and learn why they aren't talking about it, maybe it's really good and they just haven't mentioned it because they are waiting for someone else to tell them what to work on. Those are MY values for the given situation... yours might be different and nobody should care if they are.

That's a good idea. I was looking a greenhouses, etc, myself for this reason.

Also i really have no idea what it was i was talking about before. except I like salmon.
I like trout too, that I will catch myself, just down the road. But salmon is out of
my reach, so I'll let someone else do that part.
