I'm not sure if this has been suggested, but is there any way to add user created notes to each job? For example, I added a couple jobs that I found that I'm not currently qualified for (1k approved). I should have the qualification in the next few days, but it would be nice if I could add a note to them to remind me of various things (like average length of time the HIT takes to complete).

I put notes into "Friendly Requester name" too

So, I've ran into an interesting issue with PC. I've been using it for awhile and it's worked great, but for some reason my exports started doubling in size every time I exported. Any idea what could be causing this?

There could be a few normal reasons for this. You might have a lot of jobs and not deleting them when finished. Keeping more than a hundred jobs may not be the best thing to do. Get rid of old jobs and especially surveys.

If you have a lot of search mode jobs then this could be the main reason. In search mode the script saves the last 12 groupID's it finds. So if you have a lot of search jobs it can add up quickly.

There was an error in a previous version that caused it to not delete jobs fully. It would leave orphan jobs in the database but never show it any tabs. I believe I fixed it awhile ago so if this is still a problem I would need to check on things again. If the size keeps growing then there is something wrong but I haven't seen anything like that on my side.

Like others have said the friendly requester title or name could be used for this. I don't think adding a notes would be the best thing but I might allow changing the price and duration in the advanced options in a future version.

Every alarm works. Ive heard them except the alarm to let me know when a hit is going to expire. I reinstalled and everything. Whats going on and what can i do to fix this.

First be sure the alarm for "Lowest timed hit in queue is less than x minutes." is playable by pressing the play button. By default it should sound like a bell constantly sounding. Be sure to have it at a low minute usually under 5 I find reasonable.

Second the alarm sounds ONLY after the script checks your queue page on mturk every 40 seconds or when you click on the black background in the queue watch. It will not sound when you have collected a hit that is under the minute you set.

Also be sure to check the Mute Alarm checkbox on the bottom is not checked. That checkbox only mutes that alarm.

I got all these great help from the regular thread. I dont get it. I put my own sound. And LITERALLY every other sound works. It tells me when im logged out, when my queue is full, etc. my sound i used for getting a hit plays fine. I reinstalled twice. I dont get why the one sound isnt working

Reinstalling will not reset your options or data so it doesn't help at all. Resetting everything may work but it will wipe out all your jobs and options you set. You can export your jobs to a file by going to the jobs menu and then export. Once you are set to reset it then go to this url:

It will ask if you really want to delete all data before deleting everything and reset to default values. Test it with a short timer hit and be sure to either wait for 40 seconds or click on the black background in the queue alert tab. I have mine set at 3 minutes so any hits with less than 3 minutes left will trigger the alarm sound.

Last night I released a new update (0.4.4) to greasyfork. Be sure to update it if greasemonkey/tampermonkey doesn't update it automatically. Should update it automatically sometime today. Be sure to backup your data by exporting it from the jobs menu at top so you won't lose anything if something goes wrong.

New Features:

• Will now remember the date a job was added and display it in the details section. (Shows date only for newer added jobs.)
• Details section will now show the pay rate and duration. You can edit them too but will be changed by script after job is found.

Bugs Fixed:

• Fixed a few problems with adding jobs from external scripts.
  
• Fixed a bug when changing friendly name or title and it reverts back to the original.

This update also cleans up some message data from the Queue Helper script that's not needed.

I also updated the Panda Crazy Helper script (0.2.7) last week with a bug fix and a feature added:

New Feature:

• Added support for grabbing Pending Earnings from Mturk Suite from the dashboard page only.

Bug Fixed:

• Should now recognize requester name and group ID even when other scripts add links or TO information to these elements.

Next script this week that will be updated is the Queue Helper script with a few bugs. Later on I will be reworking how the queue helper script communicates with Panda Crazy because I feel it's a bit messy right now. I also want to get the scripts to work with the new mturk site later on.

Anyone witness hits disappearing from the queue watch table only to return on the next refresh (whatever time it's set at)? Hadn't picked anything new up in awhile (had 2 in queue), saw one of them vanish from the queue watch tab then come back a minute or so later. Might only be something cosmetic but that was strange.

Yes I have noticed this problem for awhile. Surprised nobody else has seen this. I tried a few fixes but it didn't work so have to try some new ones later. It only happens when PC sends a request for the real mturk queue and gets a response after it grabs a hit. The script thinks the mturk queue has to be accurate but it's not because it took too long to respond and missing the newest hit. It's a rare thing that happens and it's only cosmetic. The hit is still in the queue but the script just got confused. One day I'll figure out how to make it a bit smarter.

I can do the reset all option and restart browser and sometimes it will load up but most of the time the only solution I've found to fixing it is to uninstall and reinstall the script and then it just starts up with zero issues.

I can do the reset all option and restart browser and sometimes it will load up but most of the time the only solution I've found to fixing it is to uninstall and reinstall the script and then it just starts up with zero issues.

Haven't had this happen but here are a few things to check:

• The script only runs in normal chrome or firefox. No other variation like canary or palemoon. Don't run it in incognito.
• It may not be saving the data because of a security feature you have on chrome. Also make sure no other program is clearing cache or other data from chrome. The script relies on chrome to save the data so there isn't much I can do to force it to save data if a security feature stops it.
• When you reinstall the script do you import your jobs from a file after? If you do then the data that is in the file may be wrong which makes it run perfectly but doesn't save correctly so when trying to run it again it fails. Might have to test to see what happens if you don't import anything. Make sure it always starts correctly before adding jobs.
• Might have to test it in another browser or make sure chrome is fully updated.

One thing that happens to me (usually every morning) is that when I open Chrome I get a bunch of little alerts telling me that everything has crashed and none of my scripts/extensions work. I have to chrome://restart to get everything to work again. Not sure if that'll help any but maybe.

Official chrome, up to date 64-bit version. Security features are default and I don't import/save anything to it since I usually just use it to panda jobs from that day.

I'm not sure whats up with it, when it happens it just sits on the default mTurk page and doesn't even show PC.

Next time it happens I'll give chrome://restart a shot like NotJaded suggested and see if that at least lets me skip the tedium of reinstalling the script
