They were sticklers for any medical problems, but not behavior problems. When I went in the Navy in 1983, Quite a few in my division were given the choice of Jail or the Navy. They all turned out to be pretty good guys though.Sorry to hear that. They don't take anybody with so much as a hangnail.

My oldest just started his 2nd year in the Air Force. Left this morning to head back to Kansas after being home for 3 weeks. It's always tough to see him leave but man am I proud of him and how much he is growing up. I have the utmost respect and commend anyone who serves, and believe me, it was a very difficult road to get him there, after doing stupid things to potentially get him kicked out before he ever even left for basic, but thankfully his recruiter is an amazing man who jumped through hoops to keep him there.
