See, this is actually pretty brilliant! When y'all get back, she'll ask, "So..did you get married?" and he can reply, "I'd love to tell you the answer to that Ma, but what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!". That will totally teach her to not like someone who seems pretty effing friendly and cool..

IDK what her big deal with getting married is anyway... She was married to his dad for 35+ years and just decided to leave him one day, and thats the story of why my boyfriend doesn't ever want to get married.

In my experience, some maternals get squinchy when their babies get serious with someone. It's her problem though, so don't ever let it get you down. From the sound of it, you've got someone who lives their own life though, so congrats and well wishes.

I once had a (35 year-old, grown-ass) dude break up with me because his mom told him to. I laughed and said, "Good luck with your future, dude." and then told jokes about it over shots with my friends that night.

Duct tape.

For the diaper, not the other stuff. (and oh, so sorry...I miss little guy days but NOT that part of them!)

My kid would just wiggle out of his diaper and duct tape fixed that. But my kid also peed so much that he'd flood his diaper every night if I didn't also add a diaper liner, so maybe that extra bulk made him wiggle out?

he hardly ever wets through, but when he's awake he's constantly pulling at the sides, so I'm pretty sure he's just taking it off. He loves running around nekkid. I'm going to try putting pants on over it and see if that helps, if not I'll be moving to duct tape.
