If I look at a girl passing by on the street and they make eye contact with me, I consider it dating. If they smile I call things off because things are getting too serious and I need my space.

he hardly ever wets through, but when he's awake he's constantly pulling at the sides, so I'm pretty sure he's just taking it off. He loves running around nekkid. I'm going to try putting pants on over it and see if that helps, if not I'll be moving to duct tape.

Just to try duct tape. He usually doesn't sleep with pants on, so I'm going to try that. If that fails, pants + duct tape. If that fails, guess I'll try backwards and overalls. If that fails...well. Guess I'll give him a bath every morning.

My older son liked to take his diaper off. I eventually bought g diapers, which are like a cloth/disposable hybrid, but they velcro in the back and that solved all my problems with him.

Oh thank goodness. I was reading all the posts and thinking that I have a great relationship with my youngest (my oldests, too) and I hope by the he (or they) is married for 20 years we still talk and he asks for my input on some things!

I can't imagine that I'll suddenly just stop caring about what he decides just because some new chick appears in his life, lol.

But I'm not domineering and my whole goal is to raise him into a man who makes his own decisions and stands on his own two feet. I hope he still needs a good relationship with me when he's married, and I hope he marries someone who isn't threatened by a man who still loves his mama without *needing* his mama to make his life choices, if that makes sense.

See, it sounds to me that you're one of the great moms, and not anything like the others. You're the kind of mom I'd keep after the breakup, like my three adopted Mas who still love and advise me, even though their spawn and I are just friends now. The world needs more Moms like you, and whoever your kids date/marry will be lucky to have you in their lives.

Can I adopt you even if I don't date your son? I'm not weird or anything. Okay I am, but it's mostly just that I'm pretty much an orphan who needs guidance and am used to being adopted by my friends' moms.
