The food samples at Costco are nice but if you go on a weekend it's a No Rules Hell Zone and you have to actually fist fight the other customers in order to freely walk through the aisles.

100% confirmed. I worked there for 4 years, weekends were insane. What's worse is that we constantly changed where items were to mess with people's heads and get them to buy stuff they weren't intending on buying, so people were forced to wander the store aimlessly or try to find one of the "floor merchandisers" (me and one other guy, we basically had to man the entire store) to help them find shit. Crazy busy work, but definitely good pay. P.S. thanks for the warm welcome

In defense of checks at Costco...

Until recently they did not take any credit card I owned, or my debit card. My ONLY options were a check or the Costco credit card.

I felt all trying to remember how to write a check fast and gtfo before everyone in line killed me (and I wondered if I was the only one without an AE card...)

Just so you all know, it was 2 banana's and when I want the free samples, I use my cane to clear the way. I read somewhere on one of those websites about Aliens scanning those cards you all use and sending the money to Elvis so I use checks. Thats the same way I helped that displaced Prince of Albania that needed funds.
