I'm only being half smart ass here but does that mean I can just go pick roses off the bush outside and eat them?
Never eat wild food unless you know if you should or not. Not only do you need to know the plant type, but also if any chemicals / insecticides have been used on or near it. There are books about wild food out there.

I'm too chicken to just go eat things from outside w/out knowing what exactly they are. Though I did eat some grass one time because I was curious what it tasted like. (I was also 8.) (Also: 1/10 do not recommend.)

No reason to quadruple (or more...) your caloric intake for one special treat though....
I just did the googling about this...1 avocado has 234 calories. 1 glazed donut has 255 calories...so at most you are just adding an extra 300 calories to your diet by using doughnuts as buns.

I recommend washing them but yes! As long as there is no pesticide on them, go for it! The petals are most of the flavour of them and that depends on the shade of them with the darker ones having more taste to them. The white bottoms of the petals are VERY bitter though, so remove those for the best taste.
But 'em in a salad, or make rosewater for drinks and desserts and stuff. (Or to mix with some witch hazel for ya face!)

Chickens eat stuff from outside all the time.

white girl right here that has never had an avocado or starbucks. I am too busy with pizza and chocolate.
You've never eaten an avocado? This is madness!

Hey thanks for the update Kadauchi @Kadauchi, I had 2 questions, one is that it doesn't seem that requesters with no TO show up much or not at all without unchecking that box completely, is that right, or am I missing a setting? Also...ok I don't remember the other Q. I like the clicked link thing! And the worker.mturk site stuff. Was the autoreload with your radio buttons before? oh that was my other Q.
Unchecking what box?
Auto reload with the radio buttons?

But as someone DID just point out. Don't just go over to your neighbors garden and start eating his rose bush. You never know if it is a rose or a rose look-a-like. Make sure you know 100% BEFORE you eat it! Honestly though, roses are a great flavour for deserts. Rose water was used as perfume for a long time. Also can use it to help scent your home!
