This is just a wild guess.... Any chance that this would stem from being logged into the www.mturk.com and worker.mturk.com at the same time via different browsers?

I doubt it. I am always logged in on my Chromebook. Then, if I wander off or wanna sit in my chair I use my Tablet. If I'm out sometimes I'll use my cell phone for it, and at bedtime I switch to my laptop and sometimes Turk in bed.

This is fine. People have worked like that since MTurk started. I would not worry at all about accessing your account from different devices you use.

I run HF and PC on my Windows laptop in Chrome, the work on the HIT's on my Mac Mini in Chrome.....i haven't had any emails like that.....

but I did get a 5min 'suspicious activity' time out once when I was in the middle of working on that long $60 HIT on my laptop and took a break to watch TV and tried to do one on my Ipad....

This is fine. People have worked like that since MTurk started. I would not worry at all about accessing your account from different devices you use.

I work on about 10 different devices over the course of a month, in multiple locations. Never had a problem.

I just did an ibotta where someone took a picture of their receipt on what appeared to be a blood-soaked towel. I think they might have bigger concerns than securing a small rebate right now.

thanks for the suggestion. I might have logged in to worker.mturk.com 1 month or longer ago. other than that, I've only been logging in on the same browser on the same device as usual.
