They get a little worse. Fair amount of writing. Worth it though if the HIT approves. I just submitted mine with turk ID. Requester finally responded back to me, and that was enough for me to make the decision to submit. Their answer definitely showed that they were confused on how mTurk works though as many requesters can be.

So I was about to take a Prolific Quiz. Then I thought:
how long until I actually see the money for it?
And I didn't take it....even though it typically pays better than whatever I'm doing on mturk.
And I thought, this is like the surveys when they ask do you want $10 now or $15 later?
And I realized, not for the first time, how my whole thought process has become completely reformed
by mturk.

It's pretty terrifying.

Tomorrow is day 10, then I'm off probation. Question: looks like I've been accepting 100 hits per day, but returning about 30 of them. Am I returning too many? Am I accepting too many that I shouldn't? Does anybody have an estimate of how many he/she accepts but returns?

return rate usually doesn't matter for much. Occasionally it might keep you from doing a hit but those are few and far between.

A lot! Very, very, very few requesters look at returns. Don't sweat it.
