True. But Molecular Gastronomy leads a lot of the reasons cooks do certain things even though its relatively new. The blending of seasonings, flavors, and reactions in cooking is a beautiful thing.

I like Gordon though. His british television content is really good, same with youtube. American content is kind of over the top for ratings.
