train from dells to chicago, 2 nights in chicago. train from chicago to DC, 6 hours layover in DC, do some sightseeing. Train from DC to Winter Park, FL. Then rent car and drive to ST Augustine, FL. Staying at resort in St. Augustine with private ocean access. 3 outdoor pools and 2 outdoor hot tubs. Can't wait to get away from the grind of everyday life. But I will miss my cat.

That sounds awesome! I've always wanted to do a long train ride. One day, I want to do the Amtrak Coast Starlight from Los Angeles to Seattle.

St. Augustine is amazing. I used to go there a lot when i was in highschool to take photos. One of my favorite places. You are going to love it there.

yeah, that is supposed to be beautiful as in the California Zepher, and the Empire Builder once you get out of the midwest.

I have only been on Amtrak from Dells to Chicago, but not long distance after that. We have a roomette on the Capitol Limited (the one to DC) and the Silver Meteor ( the one to Winter Park)

that can get pretty costly. LOL. But I did find a Groupon for Flava Moose. $8 of ice cream for $4. Sounds like a very interesting place.

Yea it probably would cost a bit. It is a very interesting place. Definitely check out the spanish fort.
