I grew up in Tennessee and everything was a coke. When I moved to Indiana I couldn't figure out why everyone was saying pop instead of coke. I still say a coke, everything is a coke.

I remember staying Tennessee for a week and arguing with this girl about that. Like hey, I can accept "soda" (though we say "pop" here). But coke is a brand. Do they sell Pepsi in Tennessee? Do they call it coke? lol. I hope I'm not sounding like a dick. Just tying to work this logic out.
