I have this (capitol one) both a savings and investment from when they used to
be Sharebuilder. The savings one was at like 4-5% (was ING and something else before capital one but that was a different economy ago.
Anyway they've been good, takes just a day to transfer to my other account if i need to
withdrawal.

i've been looking at ally. why did you get rid of them? anything you would warn against? looks pretty good to me so far...

i signed up for a credit card with them from an email i got that was supposed to be 0% intro APR for 6 or 12 months and also give you like $50 or $100 for spending $500 or more and it wasn't. i think the issue was that i had received the offer but didn't use the link to sign up. so anyway i had put a lot of vet bills from when we put my dog down on the card and after the first statement i realized they gave me a 19% interest rate (my credit is above 780!). so i had to pay them off earlier than i would have liked to avoid interest. but so i cancelled the card and my savings account out of spite because i thought that was disingenuous to advertise and they wouldn't work with me at all and all of the CRs and managers i spoke with were jerks.
