How did you get up? I've had this stuff for a month and can't get rid of it. Saw doc yesterday and have to go pick up antibiotics. I already did the viral script.

I didn't mention I'm surrounded by three boxes of Kleenex, two trashcans for used tissue disposal, and one of those giant bags of Halls Coughdrops from Sam's Club. I'm just fighting through it. I'll probably hate myself later, but the checking account hates me worse right now.

Also, try 1000 mg Vitamin C a day. I've been doing that for years. When I do get sick, seems to be quick and painless compared to other folks.....

I know. I kept working as best I could with the laptop in bed and sitting at desktop when I could. And yes the kleenex are here and the waste baskets and the cough drops, the cold syrup, etc. My neighbor said it took her a month to get over it. I hate it cause it zaps all of my energy. I don't think there is an easy way to get over it. We just have to suffer through. The doc told me yesterday that like the first weeks of the year they saw no flu cases and now they are swamped.
