The repair place thinks it's my head gasket. No estimate yet but looking online says 1200-1800

You can check you head gasket by checking your oil. If it is milky looking that is one sure way to tell if it is. Not sure how to tell any other way except pay a lot of money to a garage as you are. I just know when we blew a head gasket you tell by the oil.
