hey guys OT does anyone know anything about alkaline water? I know I read stuff at some point, wasn't sure if it was all crap or not, can't remember what exactly, except it will solve all my problems and fix my life (or possibly that is an exaggeration) anyway I'm getting magical Shoshone spring water which is alkaline along with a bunch of calcium and forgot what else, and couldn't remember why I wanted it so much.
last time i came by here i had an unfortunate event and couldn't. Also I hope everyone is having a great day!

thanks that's helpful, so basically no real studies either way. they are several (public/free) fountains of naturally carbonated water with different mineral contents, if nothing else ive always wanted to try making my own ginger soda.

Anyway, the answer is "yes" drinking alkaline water does have health benefits for the population as a whole... Many people buy into the supposed health benefits of drinking "enriched" water and as a results they end up drinking more water and less tea, coffee, and soda. We scientists are a tricky bunch and we know what we're doing.
