@jan what type of dog do you have? Our 20ish lb dog is a barker. She will sit at the window all day just waiting for something to bark at, including a gust of wind. We couldn't even have visitors over because she would bark constantly at them the entire time. I'm not a fan of shock collars, but I did finally get a citrus spray collar. It works miracles and was about $40 on amazon.

He's a 'mostly' black lab. He's better with visitors, considering how chaotic everything has been (and people have been in and out of the places we've stayed, hotels - and the like). So, I think he's improved. He's really nice (but someone forgot to train him ).

Though for sure a handful (walking him on the ice has been nothing short of dangerous!)

That's right, I remember him now. I have an incredibly bad memory lately. He is such a handsome boy though.
