So I got my Prolific payout to paypal this AM and said ok I can donate this. I did not know I had to convert the GBP to USD before I could use it to pay someone USD - thought it was automatic, so it was taken out of my bank. Have the money to cover it but why do they make thing unclear for old folk like me? Live and learn.

thats a new thing they started to fuck us over on the conversion rate...it used to do it automatically at bank rate....now the do it at a PP determined cut rate....
