How did I originally discover it? A friend went to a tech conference and someone from Amazon was there, showing MTurk and how they used it for internal purposes and were opening it up for public requesters to post tasks, too. The friend who was there was later telling a group of people at a party about this presentation so after hearing him talk about what he'd seen, I went to the site to check it out and signed up.@electrolyte serious question though. How did you discover it back then? Cant imagine it was a crowded as it was now.
