The only upside is that we can live there for awhile and potentially rent it out and buy a house (a proper house in the future.

The house we put the offer on was accepted, but when I had the inspection done, and reviewed the 64 pages...........and then asked for a price reduction, well, she hasn't gotten back to us. I think she is hoping for more money - but when an inspector uses words like 'could fail' when talking about a house, well, that's sort of scary!
