Problem with Penserra is that I'm not able to go back and call them again. Don't have the number anymore. Should have used my cell so I have a record of my calls...

all the people who tell the truth will get reversed and paid triple. Those who try to bad mouth is socially will have us ban them from our HITs which are far more damaging than rejection. Some have chosen to prove their right in a conference call. Happy to set that up.

I still don't understand what the problem is though? If you made the call, spoke to the owner and the owner will verify that via a conference call ... why aren't you accepting Penserra's offer to earn triple ($45)? I would be ALL over that!

I think this sounds really reasonable. They shouldn't have to pay for work that isn't done. They are giving an option for the person to prove that they did the work.
What would you do as the requester in this situation?

It's a fair offer, but honestly, it's hard as hell to get people to talk. Then they called them again to verify. Then they are gonna call AGAIN to settle a squabble.

So, if I"m understanding right.

You called first, talked to someone, got all their info and turned it in. Penserra called them, they said "nah that person doesn't exist" so they rejected you (and possibly others?) And now they are offering you a chance to call the person back and figure out what the disconnect is and you're refusing that?

I've only been half paying attn cause I'm icky today, so I wanna make sure I understand.

There was definitely a bit of a tone, and that alone would make me want to show them that they're wrong. If the mistake was on their end, they should be made aware of it.

Playing devil's advocate here - if their TO is indeed full of these, they are probably very frustrated with the results they received. I'm sure they've gotten unpleasant emails as well. If you did the work, try to look past the tone and show them you completed the task. Don't shoot yourself in the foot if you can help it.

On a lighter note, not sure if this was posted yet, got an email from Sara Trane on the mass rejects delivered on a survey last week where they apparently sent part 2 via email but the vast majority didn't get it. If this applies to anyone, looks like they're going to make it right shortly.

This email is to clarify and accommodate for an issue that has come to my attention regarding my Mturk survey that you took a few weeks ago.
I have received emails from a number of people saying that they never received the second part of the survey corresponding to the HIT 3SR6AEG6W5UDI5HFHRP6 Q63J9T7HYF, even though it was sent out by the company that I work with for my dissertation.
You should have received an email containing The Workplace Big Five Profile. If you did not, it is likely that it got stuck in your SPAM.
However, I really want everyone who wants to fill out the second part to have another chance to do so. Therefore, I am resending the second part, you should have it later today, and you will have until Thursday midnight to finish it.
I will, of course, reverse your rejection and accept your HIT and pay you as promised after I have received the results. I am not able to download the results until the time is up on Thursday, so please allow a few days for the change to appear in your account.
Lastly, please do not think that I am intentionally withholding payments. Everyone who took both parts has received their payments, and I can assure you that I will pay you too upon completing this final part.
I am sorry if I have caused you any inconvenience. My intention is to correct whatever issue that caused the second survey to not reach you if this was the case.
Please let me know if you do not receive the email regarding the Workplace Big Five and you still want to fill it out!
