I would just put on a huge pot and boil them for 10ish minutes. But we do plastic eggs for a hunt, my little one has an allergy.

Cover them in cold water, bring to rolling boil, turn it off, cover and let them sit in the hot water for ~12-15 minutes, drain and run cold water over them to cool them.

But that's if you want to actually eat them.

I've been told to gently roll them on the counter so the entire shell is cracked, and then peel them under cold water. Let the eggs sit for at least 30 minutes first.

I start the eggs in cold water and then let the pot come to a full boil. When it's at a full boil put a lid on the pot and turn off the stove for 10 to 12 minutes.Then you can check one if you have a lot of eggs. After that I usually run them under cold water and let them set.

Thank you! We do plastic eggs also for our morning with just the our children. Then we go to my mother in law's house and all the cousins hunt for eggs using real ones. We used to all get together and have them dye eggs on Good Friday, but that doesn't seem to be happening this year

I was odd growing up. I hated Easter because of hunting eggs. I just wanted cadbury creme eggs, a big chocolate bunny, and egg salad sandwiches.
