Youtube is amazing. I have learned so much and the only thing I have had done to any of the cars/trucks at my house that I couldn't do myself are getting the tires balanced in the past 5 years.

I can do it myself, (and usually do) but I just wanted it done by someone else so I could get other stuff done. Small town mechanics almost always reassert the "I should have just done it myself" belief. Certified mechanics at a dealership are 10x worse

Totally understand. Had the front end of a truck rebuilt 6 years ago, the last time anyone every touched anything after that. I was just trying to save time and ended up being a mess.
