That's always how it goes with me. Last year when my jaw was broke, they "discovered" many other things that needed to be done. Ended up removing an impacted molar and something else I do not recall.

well i already made an appointment with this dentist. they asked for my card number and said they needed it to hold down my appointment next week. then told me to fill out an online patient form. i read the fine print on the form and it said if i don't cancel before 24 hrs or do a no show that i would be charged the whole amount of the exam. i'll look into the community college dentists today.

You can always apply for Care Credit. Most dentists take it. It is a credit card but they don't charge interest if you pay it off in a certain time frame.

Draper HIT age limit 18-60 years old. At least that was it around the first of the month when I tried to do it. Sure hurt to return that....after I walked across the ceiling in ire(or actually in my bedroom)..whatever.
