$20 concert tickets on live nation today (fees included) (for select bands/artists) for a fabricated holiday called "National concert day"

might buy a ticket for Kings of Leon for tomorrow just to see the opener Deerhunter (one of my favs)

edit - today is only for AT&T customers. not AWAKE YET
I love Deerhunter! Although I must admit for the longest time I had it stuck my head that they were a death metal band

Deerhunter is so good. Finally saw them live last year and it was one of the best concerts I've been to. There's also a band called The Deer Hunter. That band may be metal. I'm not 100% sure

If google requesters are jumping ship to other platforms (I have seen several google requesters on Prolific lately) then it is a troubling sign for the future of Mturk. I honestly think that if Prolific ever gets powerful enough equipment and proper coding to handle batches they will put Mturk out of business.
It sounds like Appen requires you to have a "set" schedule though?
Work schedule:
  • 4 hours a day Monday through Sunday (flexible specific hours)
  • 19 hours per week
Not sure how flexible that is in comparison to mturk. Has anyone done work on there before?

Yea that specific hours crap can eat a bag of dicks.
I can see signing a contract with them for some $10-12/hr work and then being forced to do that while Mturk is flush with $20/hr work.
