What do scallops taste like? I love seafood, but have never had them. My adopted Ma gave us a huge bag of them, but I'm not familiar with such fancy people food. I'm looking up recipes for them on Pinterest, but don't know which might be the best, given that I don't know the flavas.

Update: Still clueless, but considering these recipes because they made my tummy grumble..
1. Bacon Scallops with Garlic Butter Sauce (w/asparagus and rice as a side)
2. Scallop Alfredo (because I already have alfredo down as a skill and it'd be easy, maybe with a red pepper thrown in..?)
3. ??? (No clue)

It truly is. I don't think I've ever gone "Holy shit this is amazing" after eating a tv dinner or anything microwaveable really.

Scallops are what every other type of seafood wishes it could be. Very, very tender with a mild flavor. Not too far off from lobster tail. We usually do a scallop/haddock fry. But whatever you do you really can't go wrong.
