Week 7 Challenge
MTC: The Movie


Each tribe will make a movie poster and write a plot synopsis for MTC: The Movie.

Rules:
  • Each tribe will be assigned a specific genre. Tribe 1 will make a ROMANCE/DRAMA movie. Tribe 2 will make a SCI-FI/HORROR movie.
  • Each tribe MUST make a movie poster (example above) and write a general plot to their movie.
  • You CAN make any other media or propaganda for your movie (art, trailer, etc.), but only the POSTER and PLOT SUMMARY are required.
  • Your cast must include at least 3 members from MTC. (Please be respectful).
  • You must post your submission in the challenge thread here by THURSDAY, APRIL 27 by 11:59 pm pst (daily thread change).
  • I will let the masses vote on Friday and award the winner of the challenge Saturday.
The winners this week:
  • Each person on the winning tribe will receive 1 point towards going to the Sole Survivor.
  • Each tribe must name a "Director". The rest will be considered crew. The Director for the winning tribe will receive 2 points. They will also be the one responsible for posting their submission.
  • The Director will receive the power to steal a point away from someone on the leaderboard and give it to one of their crew. They may not keep it for themselves.

I had a team ask, so I wanted to put it here for both, because it's a good point I left kind of vague.

Yes, you should make up your own title for the movie. The title of the movie is not MTC: The Movie.

When I came into this country I had no money to my name, and two huge impossible dreams. I wanted to eat Jimmy Dean's Original Sausage and Pancake on a Stick, and become a movie star. I finally did it fam, I made my dreams come true.

Fantastic work by both teams, that was incredibly creative and well done.

WEEK 8 CHALLENGE
Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer


This week your challenge is to group up with your fellow Castaways in several rounds until our last pair is standing!

Rules:
  • There will be 11 rounds. They will be played at different intervals over the week.
  • I will be telling you to group up each round with your fellow Castaways. This could mean pairs of two, groups of three, or possibly groups of 4-5, depending on the round.
  • Each round will consist of it's own instructions.
  • Each round will be eliminating one Castaway.
  • You and the person/people in your group for each round must PM me in a GROUP PM to tell me you're teamed up. You may only be on one team per round.
  • These rounds will move quickly, so as soon as I announce the rules for the next round, get your PM into me asap.
  • The last TWO Castaways standing at the end of this week will be the winners of the challenge, each gaining one point towards becoming Sole Survivor.
ROUND 1
  • Group up into 4 groups of 3 Castaways each.
  • As soon as I have the groups in, I will announce them in the challenge thread, along with the next round's instructions.
  • Castaway left without a group will be eliminated this round.
