I don't have an @electrolyte level memory of research studies and news articles, but there was definitely one a bit ago about people who did a job like this staring at stuff like this all day becoming depressed and dead inside themselves

It would be like working on a crises line, only never getting the satisfaction of talking to (and helping) someone. Just seeing the hard stuff...........over and over again.
