A few days ago I told you about how tough my son's kindle fire kids edition is, but that water klls it. I dropped it off at UPS Wednesday at 4pm and its replacement was here on my front porch before noon today. Amazon is amazing. I, for one, welcome our new corporate overlords.

Amazon is amazing, I got the kid one for christmas and so far the thing is bullet proof for a five year old who cant seem to hold onto anything ever

i have a 16 year who is developmentally younger than your son, but physically a freaking beast when it come s to this kindle. he smashes the screen against his head multiple times. Tosses it across the room. Bangs it edge on against tables and floors. he hits it with his toys. for 14 months that thing has taken a beaten and showed no marks. one dip in the pool and it died
