i wish i did this time. if i nod off while reading something in bed the phone hits my face and it is heavy
That's my biggest qualm about the plus. Why can't technology fix this issue yet?

Nova Launcher allows you to do things like change the layout, organize your apps better, customize gestures (i.e i have my Camera set to launch with a clockwise twist on my homescreen), adjust icon sizes, tons more things

Tasker lets you set up tasks on your phone in basically whatever way you can think of. If you know what IFTT is, it's like that. You can set up multiple profiles on your phone. Some quick examples are things like connect to Wifi if I am near my home, disable lockscreen if I'm on my home wifi, setting up profiles for different places (i.e at home have volume on, gps off, at work have silent on) basically whatever you can think of doing, it can probably be done
I use both nova and IFTT. How would you compare Tasker to IFTT on the basis of flexibility, power, and ease of use?

I would, too. I have a samsung and so does my dad. He's had problems with it shutting and freezing every once in awhile. Mine also sometimes just stop receiving calls and texts. It seems both iphone and samsung are riddled with problems. :\
Honestly before this battery issue, I had no issues at all with my phone. I love it.

I feel like it is just a natural thing for batteries to wear out after 3 years.

I don't even have a phone.
If you want to get in contact with me you can train a goddamn carrier pigeon.

Note: no one wants to get in contact with me.

Quick question. Probably will not be an issue but my moms account on MTC says she needs at least three posts to post a link. Would that count for MTS export as well?

IFTTT is way more user friendly then Tasker in the sense that Tasker requires you to learn a bit about what you are doing before you do it. The more you want to learn about what to do on Tasker, the more things you can make it do. It's not as simple and intuitive as IFTTT in my opinion. They can complement each other. Tasker has a much wider array of things you can do and is more focused on in phone tasks I'd say, while IFTTT is better for interacting with your various web services.

edit: tasker will use your battery a bit though depending on how much you have it do (but nothing major)

My iPhone 6 is having a lot of battery issues. It will be 60% charged and just turn off like the battery died. I plug it in and it is back to 60% charged. It is so frustrating.
I really need a new phone. My husband has the iPhone 7 and it is ok, but there are a couple things I don't like about it.
I would really like to wait until September and get the iPhone 8 (or maybe it will be called the 10?) especially if they are going to switch the chargers to USB C.
I am also looking at the Samsung S8, but it looks like it's processing power is a little slower than the iPhone 7 and will probably be even slower than the iPhone 8.

Why does this have to be so difficult?
iphone battery software is wonky like that. ive had a few people ask me to swap batteries out for them. and S8...meh....S7 is nice, ive had mine a year now and only slight issues that one would expect to have
